Power and Performance
The new Jeep Grand Cherokee gives you a choice of four engines. The base unit is a 295-horsepower 3.6-liter V6. With the Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, and Summit trims, you can get a 360-horsepower 5.7-liter V8 engine. If you’re looking for more, the SRT trim has a 475-horsepower 6.4-liter V8 engine, and the top-of-the-line is the Trackhawk’s 6.2-liter V8 that produces 707 horsepower. The 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a great suspension system, so you won’t be too bothered by any of the bumpy roads in and around L.A. And if you plan to get off the pavement, then there are four different 4-wheel drive systems available, as well as two traction management systems, air suspension, and a limited-slip differential.
Interior
The two-row Jeep Grand Cherokee seats five in a comfortable cabin. Cloth upholstery comes standard, as does a leather-wrapped, tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel. There are also tons of things you can add, including heated and ventilated front seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated second-row seats, and leather upholstery.
The 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee comes with an assortment of standard features, such as an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen, two USB ports, Bluetooth®, Android Auto™, and Apple CarPlay™. HD and satellite radio, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a rear-seat entertainment system, and two extra USB ports are also available.
Safety
Jeep vehicles have a reputation as safe vehicles and the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee received an overall 5-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Standard safety features include a rearview camera, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, and rear parking sensors. There are others features available as well, such as rain-sensing windshield wipers, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking.
