I brought my jeep in for a battery and wiring repair. I got it back with a nasty stain on the left front fender. I noticed it the minute I got home. Obviously someone spilled something toxic on it. I contacted my service advisor and texted him a picture. He wasn’t very interested in addressing the problem, so I told him I’d hit with with a brush and soap the next morning and see if it’s just a surface stain. Worst place to buy a car!!! I bought a car here few weeks ago and they still have not honored the contract and fixed the items listed on the due bill. When I called Tyler the sales manager he was very rude and said he did not want to spend anymore money on fixing that car. I guess I will be returning it on breach of contract soon.

Worst service ever. Head service manager was rude and receptionist was even worse. Talked to parts manager about a possible battery issue with my car. He told me to bring it in or have it towed and they would take a quick look at it. When I arrived, Jon Snell denied and declined looking at it. Said it would be 4 business days before they even look at it. Do not give them any business for sales or service as they are rude and do NOT care about the customer.

The Sales Manager Jon Butterworth made my entire car buying process happen in less than a half hour over the phone. I brought my Dodge Ram truck here because the service engine light came on. I knew we were in for a ride with these clowns. As other reviewers suggest customer service is nonexistent. Of course the fact that we brought in an electric car for warranty work doesn’t help. I used to do my maintenance in Indiana, where I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2016. Today this Shaver Automotive Group charged me for an oil change, filters change, tires rotation, and exchange of differentials lubricant the amount of $205, just for labor. This routine maintenance was done in less than one hour. The total of the bill was $465.12, much more than the double I used to pay in another dealer for the same service. Chris REALLY took care of us when we bought our car in for a check engine light. It was two days before Thanksgiving, they were super busy, but he still got the car fixed and got EVERYTHING covered under the warranty. Got it back before the holiday and didn't pay a dime (would've cost thousands without the warranty). Highly recommend!

I dealt with both Chris and Mike and neither of them communicated what was going on with my car. My car was in for service for three weeks before I finally got it back. They want to communicated with you via text but they just don't communicate. I wish I had asked around because everyone in the Thousand Oaks area knows that the service department is horrible and rude.

This Dealership practices scare tactics, lies, aggressive behavior, and deception to try to sell cars. Specifically Wes Remington and John McCann. After being coached to exaggerate income on a credit application the finance manager Wes Remington tried to get additional down payment and raise the monthly payment on a lease contract stating that without proof of income the contract constituted fraud. The dealership sent a form titled "Notice of Contract Cancellation". I had to come in for recall on my airbag, ask if they could fix my engine light. Sure no problem, have it done by end of day, RIGHT! Next day the adviser said it needs a coil and would be done by end of day, RIGHT! Next day, adviser says it needs wires and then if would be fixed, SURE! Just had an absolutely terrible experience at Shaver Chrysler Jeep dealership last night. The sales force there seems to be friendly and outgoing yet very inexperienced. I received a call from Shaver Automotive. They wanted to purchase my Jeep Cherokee that I leased from them last year. I was told they would pay off my lease, give me cash and enough rebates to lease a 2016 Jeep Cherokee with no money down, for the same term and for less than my current lease payment. We had some contact with Tim, who was terrific, but Marcia was our main salesperson. I would give a "5" on everything based on our contact with Marcia and Tim, but the dealership conducted itself in a less than professional manner on an issue completely unrelated to Marcia and Tim. Brenton was great to work with. He's very easy going and laid back and did what he said he was going to do regarding the car deal. He responded to all my calls in a timely manner.
